American Presidency Project
The American Presidency Project's archives contain 76,360 documents related to the study of the Presidency. Some of the documents included are Public Papers of the Presidents, Convention Speeches, Inaugural Addresses, and many more. There is data on elections from 1828 through 2004. Also included are links to all of the Presidential Libraries.

Amerifan Family Immigration History Center
From the Statue of Liberty-Ellis Island Foundation, site contains archival information on over 22 million passengers and members of ships' crews [who] entered the United States through Ellis Island and the Port of New York between 1892 and 1924. Free registration is required.

Open Collections Project: Women Working, 1800-1930
This full-text site from Harvard University contains 7,500 pages of manuscripts, 3,500 books and pamphlets, and 1,200 photographs. The Collection can be browsed by genre or by subject. There is a boolean search available as well as a full-text search. There are five suggested teaching modules provided that use the primary source material provided by this site.

This site from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill is digitized texts that document the history of the American South. It has an alphabetical arrangement and a full collection search powered by Google.

This site from the University of Pennsylvania provides photographs, quotes, book excerpts, transcripts, and video from the 1950s. Included are literary, social, and polictical links, full-text, and multimedia items.
The Vietnam Center and Archive
The mission of the Vietnam Archive at Texas Tech University is to support and encourage research and education regarding all aspects of the American Vietnam experience; promoting a greater understanding of this experience and the peoples and cultures of Southeast Asia. Its functions are threefold: collection and preservation of pertinent source material; education through exhibits, classroom instruction, educational programs, and publications; and encouragement of scholarly research through exchanges, publishing of noteworthy research, symposia, and financial support.
